It feels great to win! This seminar is designed to provide you with the
knowledge and tips on how to effectively “Show Off” your dog. You will learn how
to look more professional in the show ring and enhance your dog’s presentation
to the judge. Demonstrations with dogs are provided.
Topics covered include: the “Big Picture”, What are the judges looking at,
Entrance, Exam, Movement, Finish, How to pick your Judges and more.

Vera Anderson became an AKC judge in 2006 and an International Judge in 2010. She
has judged through the United States, as well as in Mexico and Australia.
Vera became involved in purebred dogs in 1965 when she purchased her first boxer
- a classic, brindle male of the Mazelaine lines. He became the first of many
boxers under the Bavaria's prefix.
Vera began showing boxers in 1965 and breeding them in 1967. She has finished
many boxers under the Bavaria's name as well as achieving a Sire of Merit and
two Dams of Merit (littermates), and a third place Top Producing Sire.
During this time, Vera had the advantageous opportunity to spend time with Larry
Downey in his kennel. She had hands-on with some of the old-time great dogs.
In 1968, Vera began handling dogs professionally. She has handled a variety of
dogs in all of the groups. She taught conformation classes from 1988-2006.
In 2001, Vera published a children's book about her handicapped boxer which
identifies with the fears, frustrations and perseverance experienced by children
living with handicaps.
Vera currently owns Boxers and Boston Terriers. She has also owned: Shetland
Sheepdogs, Doberman Pinchers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers,
English Setters, and Chow Chows.
Vera has a Business Degree in Marketing. She has been a College Instructor, a
Manager in several large corporations, and raised 3 children.
